I've got to tell you, all that bullshit about sacrifice in his speech last night really makes me angry. The American people should not be made to give up their hard earned money to pay for the mistakes of the federal government. Why isn't he pledging instead that government will make sacrifices? Why isn't he saying that the federal government is going to tighten its belt? No! He's promising to do the exact opposite of that. All the American people represent to him is a giant ATM from which he can endlessly draw to fund his expansion of the federal government and its influence over our lives.

Obama winning is horrible for the USA. You thought things were bad now, just wait until he takes office. I guarantee he will not be re-elected in 4 years.

Yeah because America finally having a president that the world respects and who inspires the American people is terrible. It's great that people spent 8 years complaining about Bush and they've already started on Obama. I personally look forward to Obama's presidency and hope he gets re-elected in 2012.

Obama is an empty suit, and for some reason (maybe because he is an excellent public speaker) people think he is America's saviour. I wonder what the American people will think in four years when they have to pay higher taxes and more of the privatised sector is dissolved. I wonder if there health care matches that of their education system, (which by the way is terrible) and I wonder how people will react to the wastage of money on building an additional army that’s just as well funded as the American military!
Also, Bush wasn't a bad president at all. He is, in fact, the opposite of Obama, a bad public speaking white man who gets the job done.
